William Jarrett Death

William Jarrett passed away  at age 40 from a cardiac arrest. He had Behcet’s syndrome, a rare rheumatological condition that has only recently become known in the country, according to the sources.

Dr. William Jarrett practiced obstetrics and gynecology in the United States. The doctor also received recognition for his accomplishments and good deeds, for which he was given a prize. He was also among the top young African-American doctors in Chicago history.
He was also famous as the ex-husband of former Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.   Sadly, he passed away from a cardiac arrest at the age of 40 while traveling to the hospital.

William Jarrett Family

William Jarrett was the brother of Thomas S. Jarrett and the son of Vernon Jarrett, a Chicago Sun-Times columnist, and Fernetta Jarrett. He was born on October 4, 1953.

William Jarrett had earned a degree from Roosevelt University after attending Nashville, Tennessee’s Fisk University. At the University of Illinois, Chicago’s Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine, he finished his medical training.

He had divorced once and been married twice in his life. He had been wed to Dr. Sherry Luck Jarrett at the time of his passing. He and his wife had established two medical offices, one on the North Side  at 79th and Stony Island. The couple was given a national award by Dollars & Cents magazine in 1992 for their dedication and good deeds. Vernon C. Jarrett, the couple’s first child, had just been born. Additionally, he took on the role of father to Khadija Holman, from Sherry’s previous partner

Additionally, Valerie Jarrett, a former government official and businesswoman, was William’s first wife. The couple got married in 1983, got separated in 1987, and divorced in 1988. Laura Jarret, a daughter, had just been born.

William Jarrett Net worth

Talking about his income  before he passed away, his work as a doctor had brought in a sizable sum. Additionally, his estimated net worth at the time was $1 million, which he earned with his second wife.

William Jarrett Career

William had just been appointed the new director of obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Park Hospital when he passed away. In addition, he lectured at Pontiac General Hospital in Michigan, where he worked as a resident, and he was also a surgeon. He was later given the position of chief resident prior to moving to Chicago.
